The Old Bank on Church Street is a cozy café perfect for brunch lovers, serving breakfast until 2:30pm. You can get everything from a full English, to toasted baguettes and bagels, served with fresh coffee and fully stocked cabinet of tasty treats if you’re not too full!
Upper Crust Pizza: Family-owned delight
You don’t need to look very far for more good food spots here in Orrell as just next door to The Old Bank is Upper Crust Pizza, a family-owned business since 2021 that serves freshly made Neapolitan-style pizza… the chocolate Nutella doughnuts are also a must if you’re planning to visit.

The Little Workshop on Church Street, is a treasure trove of locally made gifts, upcycled furniture, and creative workshops. Owner Samantha, celebrating six years in business in 2025 works with local makers to deliver workshops in jewellery making, mosaic signs, and candle making. A fun fact: The shop's fixtures are made from repurposed furniture which definitely add to this store’s unique charm.
The Little Green Platter Company: A delicatessen dream
The Little Green Platter Company creates stunning handmade grazing boards, platters, and boxes. Their new graze bar allows you to enjoy these beautiful creations on the spot. The menu also features seasonal favourites from homemade soups, fresh breads, and hotpots in the winter and superfood salads in the summer. An upstairs space for artisan cheese and wine experiences is set to open in 2025!
