Wigan’s Haigh Woodland Park has something for everyone to enjoy. There's plenty to explore, whether you’re looking for a day out or a boost of adrenaline on the high ropes, a bite to eat or a woodland walk.

Adventure Play Zone
If you’re looking for something to keep the children entertained, the Adventure Play Zone is a safe and exciting space for children over 3-years-old to enjoy.
Explore the mini zip wires, climbing frames, rope bridges, slides and swings - there will be hours of fun!
High Ropes Adventure
Are you a daredevil with a head for heights? The 10m high aerial ropes could be the right adrenaline rush for you.
Situated in Haigh Woodland Park, High Ropes Adventure is for the thrill-seekers group. Begin with the low ropes and build up your confidence for the high ropes before speeding off down the 40m zip wire.
Golfing with all the family
Show you're king or queen of the course on the unforgettable 18 hole Adventure Golf (external link) course, offering challenges and obstacles to really test your skills, like putting through a tree stump vortex hole! You'll also get the chance to ride on the viking boat and indulge in the stunning views that make this adventure golf course like no other.
If you fancy something on a smaller scale, check out the 18 hole Crazy Golf (external link)course, you’ll take a journey through the dinosaur, past the lighthouse, around Captain Jack and on to the golf leader board!

Grabbing a bite to eat
If you’re exploring the park, there are plenty of places to stop off for a bite to eat.
Visit Alexanders Coffee Shop (external link), All You Knead Bakery and Deli (external link) or Two Left Feet Tap (external link). And if the sun’s out, treat yourself to a freshly made ice cream from Sprinkles (external link).

Parking, facilities and accessibility
If you’re driving into Haigh Woodland Park, you’ll find a large car park near Haigh Hall which operates a ticketed barrier system.
The Visitor Centre has toilet facilities, a wet room with accessible toilet and shower facilities, baby changing facilities and changing rooms.
You will also find accessible toilet and baby changing facilities in The Stables building.
