Leigh Sports Village

The centrepiece of Leigh Sports Village is a 12,000-capacity stadium, home to professional rugby league team Leigh Leopards and Manchester United Women’s and Under 21’s football teams. In the past the venue has hosted a multitude of prestigious international sporting events including two Rugby League World Cups, the UEFA Women’s Euros in 2022 and the finishing line for the Women’s Tour of Britain in 2024. The stadium has also hosted large scale music concerts being a versatile space that provides the perfect location for conferences, meetings and events.

With 1.5km of exhilarating outdoor racing, the Three Sisters Circuit is a perfect place for petrol heads. Pennington and Haigh Hall golf clubs

Pennington Golf Club is a friendly golf club affiliated with Pennington Country Park that has been running for over 40 years. Boasting a stunning 9-hole course, it is a good test for all abilities due to its flat park land surrounded by stunning streams and ponds.

Fancy a longer game? Haigh Hall is home to a stunning 18 hole public golf course that is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. The club also hosts regular competitions for the competitive golfer.
